SC485 Temporary Graduate Visa stay period and work hour extensions
Visa Extension
If your SC485 is expired or about to expire before 1 July 2023, you may be eligible to apply for a further two-year stay by SC408 (COVID-19 Pandemic Event) Visa. You must study and graduate from the areas in the ‘eligible qualification list‘ and be working in Australia or have an offer of employment. The two-year extension is in addition to the Second Post-Study Work stream in regional areas.
Work Hour
The Government has also announced that the working hour cap will be increased from 40 to 48 hours per fortnight for international students who study in the areas in the ‘eligible qualification list‘, from 1 July 2023. (Info here)
